Another lazy day. Mike still on the computer. Me reading. In the evening we get ready to go out because Sunday night is BBQ night at the Elm. We head over to Invincible but Kev and Jo are both suffering from the excesses of last night and don’t feel like venturing out. We decide to borrow a DVD from them (‘Layer Cake’ – just so that I can salivate over Daniel Craig!) and have an early night ourselves.

- In June 2008, Mike and I left behind our life and work in cold, wet, grey England, initially to crew our yacht, a Privilege 435, in the British Virgin Islands. Having made the break we decided to sail a bit further afield and on 6 January 2010 we started the World ARC, a complete world circumnavigation, which we completed on 16 April 2011. Moving between England, Spain and the Caribbean for a year, we then decided to embark on another sailing adventure - the east coast of the USA. For someone who doesn't swim well, hates sea water, the feel of sand sticking to her, mosquitoes and heat, it was quite a ride! We then sold the boat and tried our hand at property renovation .....
